The Saudi Irrigation Organization is a public governmental institution established by the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. (542) dated 26/08/1438 AH, succeeding the Irrigation and Drainage Authority in Al-Ahsa, which was founded in 1392 AH to manage irrigation and drainage operations in the region. The organization enjoys legal personality and administrative and financial independence. It operates under the close affiliation of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and is responsible for managing, operating, and developing irrigation activities across the Kingdom. All responsibilities and tasks related to irrigation have been transferred to the organization, which is diligently working to achieve its strategic objectives and advance the irrigation sector, reclaimed water use, and dam management in Saudi Arabia. The organization adopts an ambitious vision aimed at ensuring the sustainability of water resources, improving usage efficiency, and preserving natural resources. This aligns with efforts to promote the use of non-conventional water sources, maximize the benefits of dam water, and expand their use to meet the needs of agricultural, industrial, and urban sectors. الهيئة السعودية للمياه بالعربية: الهيئة السعودية للمياه هي الجهة الحكومية المسؤولة عن تنظيم وإدارة قطاع المياه في المملكة العربية السعودية. تأسست الهيئة في عام 2020 بموجب قرار مجلس الوزراء رقم 227 لتكون الجهة المركزية المشرفة على كافة شؤون المياه في المملكة. تعمل الهيئة على تحقيق رؤية طموحة تتمثل في أن تصبح "نموذجاً عالمياً للإدارة المستدامة لخدمات المياه وتمكين الابتكار"، وذلك تماشياً مع أهداف وتنمية الموارد المائية الطبيعية والمحافظة عليها، وترشيد استهلاك المياه. تقوم الهيئة بإجراء دراسات مستمرة لتقييم حالة الموارد المائية في المملكة وتطوير استراتيجيات لإدارتها بشكل مستدام. تطوير البنية
