MAEE Center

Under Royal Decree No. (336) dated 06/20/1442 AH, the National Water Efficiency and Conservation Center (MAEE), was established to enhance water efficiency and conservation. It aims to consolidate the efforts of both governmental and non-governmental entities in this domain.​​

Roles

Developing national programs that enhance water efficiency and conservation.
Defining performance indicators and objectives, and formulating plans and policies.
Establishing the necessary steps to achieve the objectives, and monitoring outcomes and effectiveness.
Encouraging investment and financing in areas that promote water efficiency and conservation.
Establishing regulations for accrediting and licensing water efficiency and conservation service providers.
Providing technical and advisory services in the field of water efficiency and conservation.
