SWA and University of Hail Sign Cooperation Agreement to Strengthen Partnership in Training, Research, and Innovation

The Saudi Water Authority (SWA) and the University of Hail signed a memorandum of cooperation to enhance institutional partnership in the training, research, innovation, and human capital development. The agreement seeks to advance national competencies and support the sustainability of the water sector in the Kingdom.

The memorandum establishes a comprehensive framework for collaboration that bridges academic and practical expertise. It focuses on training and preparing university students for the labor market, conducting joint research and projects in water sciences, modern technologies, and entrepreneurship, as well as developing human capital for both parties through specialized training programs, workshops, and professional boot camps.

The agreement also emphasizes integration between technical and laboratory capabilities to conduct joint studies and research, facilitate access for researchers to environmental and scientific data in accordance with data protection regulations, and promote coordination in executing joint programs and activities. It further supports the exchange of expertise and knowledge through lectures and training sessions delivered by experts from SWA in collaboration with the university.

Additionally, the memorandum includes the implementation of joint corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and programs that serve the local community, advance sustainable development in the Hail region, and foster a culture of innovation within the water sector.
