The Saudi Water Authority (SWA) announced the launch of the Non-Potable Water Production License through its online platform, as part of its ongoing efforts to regulate water sector operations and activities in Saudi Arabia and enhance the quality of services provided to the beneficiaries.

This initiative aims to regulate the practice of water production activities, enable beneficiaries to verify the reliability of services provided by licensed operators, and ensure comprehensive regulatory coverage for this activity. It also seeks to improve service quality and strengthen the operational efficiency standards of service providers.

The license allows applicants to engage in non-potable water production activities after meeting all technical and regulatory requirements set by the Authority, ensuring full compliance with approved controls and standards.

SWA reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the regulatory framework for water services activities, while enabling both service providers and beneficiaries through a progressive regulatory environment that supports operational efficiency and guarantees service sustainability.

SWA invited those interested in obtaining the license to apply through its online platform at the following
