The Saudi Water Authority has published the “Treated Water Services Guide” on the Istitlaa platform and invited the public and relevant stakeholders to review the guide and submit their feedback and suggestions. This initiative aims to support the development of treated water service regulations, enhance service quality, and protect public health and the environment.
The guide establishes a regulatory framework for treated water services, defines the roles and responsibilities of relevant stakeholders, and outlines the requirements for ensuring the quality of treated water and its suitability for approved uses, ensuring its safe and sustainable utilization.
The public consultation period through the Istitlaa platform will remain open until July 9, 2026, before the completion of the regulatory procedures for approving the guide.
