The Saudi Water Authority (SWA), through its research arm, The Water Technologies Innovation Institute and Research Advancements (WTIIRA), has signed a research collaboration agreement with China’s Shenzhen Water and Environment Group. The agreement aims to enhance scientific cooperation and exchange expertise in advanced water technologies and innovative water management solutions.
The partnership focuses on developing smart and sustainable solutions to improve water quality and treatment efficiency. Areas of collaboration include the development of advanced sensors and smart systems for automated water quality monitoring, the establishment of intelligent laboratories for real-time water analysis, and the advancement of wastewater treatment technologies.
