President of the Saudi Water Authority Conducts a Field Inspection of Water System Performance During Hajj and Visits Service Facilities in the Holy Sites

The President of the Saudi Water Authority, Eng. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Abdulkarim, conducted a field inspection of the performance of the water system in Makkah and the Holy Sites, coinciding with the arrival of pilgrims and their continued movement to the Holy Sites during the 1447H Hajj season. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to monitor operations and ensure the reliability and continuity of water services provided to pilgrims throughout the season.

During the field visit, he reviewed the performance of the production, transmission, storage, and distribution systems, as well as key operational indicators related to the efficiency of water supply and service continuity. He also examined the readiness of infrastructure and networks in the Holy Sites and reviewed coordination and integration efforts among the various entities involved in the water sector to ensure the sustainability of water supply and the regular delivery of services across all operational sites.

The visit included inspections of a number of camps and healthcare facilities in the Holy Sites, where he reviewed on-site the high level of preparedness of the services provided to pilgrims. He also observed the efforts of the entities operating within the system to enhance operational efficiency and responsiveness to field developments, supporting the continuity of supply and maintaining service reliability throughout the stages of Hajj.
