President of the Saudi Water Authority (SWA), H.E. Eng. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Abdulkarim, said the anniversary of Founding Day recalls a journey spanning three centuries of a state whose foundations were built on stability and whose people have remained united since its establishment by Imam Muhammad bin Saud. This continued through the unification of the Kingdom by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud and carries on in the current prosperous era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and with the vision of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Excellency explained that since its inception, the state has given special attention to the essentials of life, foremost among them water as a fundamental element in the stability of societies and the continuity of development. He also affirmed that water security today occupies its rightful place within the broader framework of national security, stability and the Kingdom’s development journey.
His Excellency concluded his remarks by praying for the continued protection of the nation and its leadership, and for the Kingdom to enjoy enduring pride, security and prosperity.
