Saudi Water Sector Participates in COP16 to Showcase the Kingdom’s Efforts in Sustainability and Combating Desertification

The Saudi Water Sector is participating in the sixteenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), hosted in Riyadh from December 2 to 13, 2024. This participation reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing the sustainability of natural resources and supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in achieving water security and environmental preservation.
Throughout the conference and its accompanying exhibition, the Saudi Water Sector will highlight its groundbreaking initiatives to tackle water scarcity and mitigate the effects of desertification.
