SWA President: Royal Speech Emphasizes Saudi Vision 2030’s Role in Empowering Citizensand Leading the Nation

His Excellency The President of the Saudi Water Authority (SWA), Eng. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Abdulkarim, expressed his pride in the royal speech delivered on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The speech highlighted the remarkable achievements of Saudi Vision 2030, gained within a record time and with incredible momentum, enabling Saudi Arabia to attain a leading international position across various fields. It also underscored the significant impact of Saudi Vision 2030 in advancing the Kingdom in several global indicators and achieving economic balance that enhances national stability and the well-being of its citizens.


In a statement on this occasion, H.E. SWA President said: "The royal speech affirmed the central role of the citizen and the importance of empowering them in shaping the future of the nation. The citizen is both the foundation and goal of Saudi Vision 2030, reflecting the leadership's steadfast commitment to the role of its people and its dedication to achieving the highest quality of life."


H.E. Al-Abdulkarim added: "The promising outcomes mentioned in the speech regarding the rapid progress of Saudi Vision 2030's objectives are the result of a firm will for change, genuine passion for development, and a deep belief in its goals and outputs. This progress is supported by exemplary planning and direct supervision from HRH the Crown Prince, who has made the Kingdom's rightful place and the well-being of its citizens a non-negotiable priority."


H.E. the President also noted: "The royal speech highlighted the importance of innovation, education, and knowledge as core values of Saudi Vision 2030. The Kingdom’s growing global trust has made it a top destination for major international centers and companies, as evidenced by its selection to host Expo 2030 and its preparations to host the FIFA World Cup in 2034, among other events."


In conclusion, H.E. emphasized that the recognition of citizens' achievements and the empowerment of national talents is a testament to the leadership's efforts to strengthen the role of citizens as key contributors to sustainable development.
